For those who were asking, I’m showing you my everyday make-up routine and the products I'm using every morning.
STEP 1: APPLY DAY CREAM
I totally underestimated how important a day cream is and what ingredients it includes when I was younger. After experimenting with all the differents day creams for years, I finally found my daily companion for my skin. Since more than a year I have been only using day creams from Origins. Origins only blend ingredients from nature with non-toxic alternatives. I'm using the "A Perfect World" skin cream with white tea, which keeps my skin hydrated and smooth.
STEP 2: APPLY FOUNDATION & CONCEALER
After applying my make-up base from Chanel sometimes, I follow up with the foundation, my Chanel Perfection Lumiére Velvet Foundation. It very quickly became one of my all-time favourite foundation. It is quick to apply and blend and gave me an even, demi-matte finish that provided an excellent base for powder, bronzers and blushers. Perfect for summer as it is light and relatively liquid.
Then, I'm applying my MAC Studio concealer under my eyes, which is really creamy. It is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin’s imperfections.
STEP 3: FOLLOW WITH POWDER
I usually don't use powder on hot summer days. But when I do, I use my Chanel Mat Lumiére Powder. It provides you with a matte finish. Shiny areas are mattified, imperfections instantly covered and the radiance of the face revealed. It is really matting, so I do not use a lot of it.
STEP 4: ADD BRONZER AND HIGHLIGHTER
I do a light sweep of bronzer right below cheekbones and on the sides of my nose. For this, I use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. After applying the Bronzer, I use the Benefit Sun Beam Highlighter - a perfect tone for the summer.
STEP 5: CONTINUE WITH EYEBROWS
I usually don't do a lot with my eyebrows. The only thing I use is the Gimme Brow Volumizing Gel from Benefit. It creates a natural-looking fullness and definition and is really easy to use.
STEP 6: APPLY MASCARA & EYESHADOW
My favourite mascaras are the ones from Chanel. I think they nail the expectations of full lashes, and their formula doesn’t get all over my eyelids as some mascaras do.
When it comes to my eyeshadow-palettes, I definitely have two favourites: Urban Decay NAKED 2 and my Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette. I am still loyal to my other Urban Decay palettes, but these two are the ones I use every single day.
